It’s fun to get all dolled up with makeup and fancy clothes. It's equally fun to wear comfortable clothing and get a little messy while gardening. Singer Carrie Underwood can do both.
In March of this year, Carrie completed her Denim and Rhinestones tour, during which she glammed it up. She wore beautiful costumes with stylized makeup and hairdos. Now that she is home on her 400-acre farm just outside of Nashville, things are much simpler. She is keeping things real wearing comfy clothes and gardening. She posted a picture of herself wearing no makeup and tending to her carrot crop. Her fans love both sides of her.
In her photo, Carrie is sporting a blue athletic tank. Her hair is back in a ponytail, and she has headphones on. We can only infer what she is listening to. Perhaps a true crime podcast or some of her favorite gardening jams?
Beyond her natural look, Carrie is proud of her carrot crop. “I swore I’d never try to grow carrots again after a couple failed attempts…but here we are! Feels so good to grow things,” she wrote in the caption.
Carrie’s fans took to the comment section to share their approval of her no-frills appearance.
“Congrats! Love the natural look too,” wrote one user.
“You should go makeup free more often. You have beautiful skin,” chimed in another.
“Hands down the most beautiful, natural looking woman in the world,” a third user agreed. These comments are just the tip of the iceberg.

Carrie is a mother of two sons, whom she shares with husband Mike Fisher. Carrie and Mike were set up by her bassist, Mark Childers. Mike is a former professional hockey player. Like most moms, Carrie works hard to balance work and family time. During this last tour, she made sure to come home as much as possible.
"This tour, I'm going home a lot more than I ever have before. If there's a way to get me home, even if it's just for the day," she told Today.
