Recently, Chris Pratt and his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger welcomed their first son and third child together. The couple announced the newborn’s arrival via social media, revealing his name is Ford. Almost a month later, Chris and Katherine shared the first photo of their baby boy.
To recap, the Guardians of the Galaxy actor married the daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver in 2019. They welcomed their first child, a daughter they named Lyla, in August 2020, followed by a second daughter, Eloise, in May 2022. In November 2024, baby Ford arrived. Chris also shares a son, Jack, 12, with his ex-wife, Anna Faris.

On November 11, Chris and Katherine revealed the arrival of their baby boy via Instagram.
“We are overjoyed to announce the birth of our son, Ford Fitzgerald Schwarzenegger Pratt,” they wrote. “Mama and baby are doing well and Ford’s siblings are thrilled by his arrival. We feel so blessed and grateful. Love, Katherine and Chris.”
An accompanying graphic showed a blue wavy circle on a white background. In the center, dark blue text read, “Ford Fitzgerald Schwarzenegger Pratt.” Another line below that revealed his birthdate was November 8, 2024.
On December 6, Katherine took to Instagram to share a photo of her baby boy for the first time. “November 🩵,” the doting mom captioned her update. In the featured image, Ford’s little legs wearing a cream-colored outfit with matching socks were visible.

Katherine’s followers sent well-wishes to the mom of three on her latest arrival. Folks in the comments couldn’t get enough of the cuteness.
One Instagram user wrote: “Congratulations! ❤️ What a beautiful gift for the holidays.”
Another fan shared: “Ohhhhh gosh! Congratulations mama! Beautiful November memories 🧡.”
Meanwhile, someone else commented, “Congratulations to you and your family ❤️❤️.”
Chris and Katherine have agreed that their kids’ privacy is of utmost importance and therefore do not share photos of their children’s faces on social media. Fans likely won’t get to see Chris and Katherine’s baby’s face anytime soon.
“I think that one of the greatest gifts that my parents ever gave me and my siblings is the gift of privacy and having a really normal upbringing, or as normal of an upbringing as possible,” Katherine told Today in 2021, per People. “We were allowed to be our own people and have our own identity and kind of choose to step into whatever form of being public we wanted to when we felt comfortable. And I think that was such an incredible gift to have given us kids.”
