Dolly Parton has made it clear that she has no interest in AI. The 77-year-old singer was asked during a London press conference if she'd ever consider producing a concert with a virtual version of herself. These can be made into posthumous hologram performances once a celebrity dies. But the star doesn't want to be tied to Earth forever after she passes on.
“I think I’ve left a great body of work behind,” she replied. “I don’t know how they’ll keep me around.”
“I’ll have to decide on how much of that high-tech stuff I want to be involved in because I don’t want to leave my soul here on this Earth,” she added. “I think with some of that stuff, I feel like I’ll be grounded here forever, so when I’m gone, I want to fly with it.”
