Trump Fundraising Email Sounds Like A Threat

President Donald Trump’s Never Surrender PAC is asking MAGA supporters to prove that they’re “proud” United States citizens — but it will cost them. The subject line of the threatening fundraising email reads, “Are you an illegal alien?” But somehow, when you open the email, it actually gets more ominous.

The email includes a photo of Trump and greets readers with, “I reached out last week about my Citizens Only Survey. Your file says you’re a top MAGA patriot… But my records to my survey STILL say: RESPONSE PENDING.” First of all, what file? But also, the email goes on to suggest that anyone who isn’t “a top MAGA patriot” who took this survey for “citizens only” might be an undocumented immigrant.

The email warns people that it’s their “final” chance to prove that they’re U.S. citizens.

The email has gone viral on social media. One content creator who shared the controversial email on Instagram said that those who wish to “prove” that they’re American citizens have to pay. The creator, who goes by “Happy Mom,” said, “Spoiler alert: There is a donation required to submit the stupid survey to prove that you’re an American citizen so that ICE does not come and track you down.”

Because yes, the email really does threaten that Immigration and Customs Enforcement could come for you if you don’t take the survey. It reads, “Don’t tell me, you’re an illegal alien?!? That cannot be true! This is your FINAL MOMENT to Prove me wrong. Please!”

It continues, “Are you a proud American Citizen or does ICE need to come and track you down?” Then, people are prompted to take the “Citizens Only Survey” by clicking a bright red button.

To “prove” that you’re a citizen, you just have to say you are.

In her video, Happy Mom showed the contents of the survey, which asks people, “Are you an AMERICAN CITIZEN or an ILLEGAL ALIEN?” The survey also includes a few other questions, including, “Are you male or female?” Those who take the survey are given three possible answers to choose from: 1. Male, 2. Female, or 3. I’m insane. Another question asks, “Do you believe that every illegal immigrant should be deported?” The only options to choose from are: “Yes – they all broke the law!” or “No.”

Understandably, many people who saw the email on social media could not believe it was actually real. Of course, many of them found it ridiculous and offensive. But several others were also concerned about who this email seemed to be geared toward.

“I’m fully convinced now that they’ve designed these to get money from old people who don’t know the internet,” one person commented on the video.

It’s not the only weird Trump fundraising email people have received recently.

Earlier this month, a fundraising email sent to Trump supporters read, “I’m sitting here. Alone. In the war room. Fighting for you. The rest of the staff went home hours ago. It’s just me, one dying laptop, and the 72-hour countdown clock to my first mid-month deadline of the year just RANG.” Um, what?

The email also included some threats. It told people that if they didn’t “ACT FAST” and donate, they would have to face “open borders forever,” their “guns confiscated,” and their “kids brainwashed.” Even worse, the email warned them that their “favorite President … might just go through another FAKE impeachment!”
