Donald Trump Says He Wouldn’t Protect Prince Harry If He Gets Re-Elected: ‘On His Own’

Donald Trump had a thing or two to say about Prince Harry, warning that if he's re-elected as president, the Duke of Sussex will be "on his own." At the Conservative Political Action Conference in Oxon Hill, Maryland, on Saturday, February 24, 2024, Trump criticized President Joe Biden's administration for how they were "too gracious" to both Harry and his wife Meghan Markle since they moved to California in 2020. “I wouldn’t protect him. He betrayed the Queen. That’s unforgivable. He would be on his own if it was down to me,” Trump said.

“I think they have been too gracious to him after what he has done,” he continued, speaking of Biden's administration. These comments come at the height of questions concerning Prince Harry’s immigration status. Conservative think tank The Heritage Foundation suspects that the royal couldn't have entered the United States legally because of the fact that he admitted to taking illegal drugs in his memoir, Spare.

In his book, the prince revealed that when he was younger, he took cocaine, marijuana, and psychedelic mushrooms. He continued on by noting that the cocaine didn't do anything for him, but the marijuana had a different effect. "That actually really did help me.”

People in the comments responded to Trump's opinion.

"Donald Trump should mind his own business," one person commented.

Another person questioned, "Is he still butthurt they didn't invite him to their wedding?"

"What a clown show," commented someone else.
