Hilary Swank Opens Up About About Being A New Mom Of Twins: ‘Most Extraordinary Thing’

Hilary Swank, 49, is loving every minute of being a new mom. Her twins, whom she shares with husband Philip Schneider, were born in April 2023. On Valentine’s Day 2024 she revealed her daughter’s name is Aya and her son’s name is Ohm. Hilary gushed about them the same night on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Hilary believes life with twins is "extraordinary," which makes sense. There is literally another tiny human to love. She is tired but happy and grateful for all the ups and downs of motherhood so far.

The twins are already 10 months old and Hilary is loving every minute of mom life. “It is the best in the whole wide world,” she gushed. “It’s more joy and more fun and more exhausting — it’s more everything than I ever thought it would be. It’s more glorious. It’s the most extraordinary thing.”

Aya is already working on her vocabulary. “She goes, ‘Hi, hi, hi,’ to everything,” Hilary revealed. She also has a great growl which she “really commits” to.

Ohm has a different style than his sister. He loves to point and exclaim, “Ah.” Hilary is loving watching each child develop and discover the world.
