What to Know
President Donald Trump previously said that his MRI scan results were “perfect,” while the White House described them as “perfectly normal” (Same thing, right?) But people still have their questions and their doubts, like, why did he get an MRI in the first place? A clip of White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt reading the results has resurfaced on social media, and people remain skeptical of what the White House has claimed about Trump’s health.
Lately, people have been talking about Trump’s tendency to veer off topic while speaking and the way he’s been covering his hands with makeup. On several occasions, he’s also been called out for falling asleep during important meetings, though he’s denied this.
So, when Leavitt claimed that Trump “remains in excellent overall health,” people didn’t believe her.
In the clip circulating on social media, Leavitt read the results from Trump’s MRI scan. Leavitt said, “As part of President Trump’s comprehensive executive physical, advanced imaging was performed because men in his age group benefit from a thorough evaluation of cardiovascular and abdominal health.”
She continued, “The purpose of this imaging is preventative, to identify any issues early, confirm overall health, and ensure the president maintains a long-term vitality and function. President Trump’s cardiovascular imaging was perfectly normal. No evidence of arterial narrowing impairing blood flow or abnormalities in the heart or major vessels.”
Leavitt went on to explain how everything looked normal. “The heart chambers are normal in size, the vessel walls appear smooth and healthy, and there are no signs of inflammation or clotting,” she said. “Overall, his cardiovascular system shows excellent health. His abdominal imaging is also perfectly normal. All major organs appear very healthy and well perfused. Everything evaluated is functioning within normal limits with no acute or chronic concerns. In summary, this level of detailed assessment…confirms that he remains in excellent overall health.”
Karoline Leavitt brings the White House press room to a complete silence with an update on Trump’s MRI scan.

After months of media hysteria over Trump’s health, the results are back — and they are staggering:

In response, people basically said, “Sure…”
A lot of people’s immediate reaction was something along the lines of, “What about his brain though?” And others remained unconvinced that this kind of testing would even be done if everything was OK. “Normally you don’t go under these test unless there is a issue or concern,” one person wrote on X. Someone else sarcastically wrote, “Yeah right Karoline. We totally believe that!” And another critic said, “They must be referring to an MRI taken in his 20s.”
Several others questioned whether the White House would actually inform the public if something was wrong. “As if they would tell us otherwise,” someone wrote.
Although Trump said he received an MRI, his doctor Sean Barbabella said it was actually a CT scan, per Forbes.
Trump has tried to defend all of the issues people have noticed.
When he was called out for falling asleep, he said he does not actually sleep during meetings; he just likes closing his eyes, and sometimes, photographers take photos while he’s blinking. OK. And when questioned about his hand bruising, he said it’s because he takes a lot of aspirin.
