Memoirist Kate Nason's 2021 book contains an explosive detail: In 1997, she found out her then-husband Andy Bleiler was having two affairs. One was with a coworker, and the other was with a former student named Monica Lewinsky.
Kate writes that she suspected the former but was surprised by the latter; when her husband's coworker showed up and confirmed her own affair, she revealed the news about Monica.
Monica was 23 years old when Kate found out about the affair, which had reportedly been going on for five years. Andy later confirmed that the affair began a year after Monica graduated high school.
