Have you ever walked in on your parents having sex? Or worse, have you ever been the parents having sex that your kids walked in on? How did they react? How did you react? It's a nightmare on both ends, pretty much anyone can assume. And I'm sure that many parents and kids have their own horror stories that they've pushed back in their minds.
Well, Kelly Ripa is recounting two moments when her daughter, Lola, walked in on her and Mark Consuelos having sex. And one of those times, they made eye contact! On the Wednesday episode of her podcast Let's Talk Off Camera, she discussed those awkward moments.
The first time happened in Italy, when Lola was 8. Kelly described that she and Mark hadn't gotten a lot of alone time, so they decided to get some in after their kids went to sleep. She shared that she told her husband to lock the door. "He tells me he did," she said. "All I know is, at a certain point, I made eye contact with my 8-year-old daughter who is standing at the foot of the bed." And all little Lola had wanted then was something to drink.
"The same thing happened eight years later on her 16th birthday," Kelly shared. "Same exact thing. She threw the door open." That time, though, Lola's reaction was much more pronounced. "'Oh my God, life is over,'" she continued, recalling her daughter's response at the time. "'I used to see in color and now everything is gray. How could you do this to me? What is wrong with you people?'"

Lola, who is now 22, apparently never learned her lesson. "The moral of the story is that she never learned to knock," Kelly said. "Hopefully, by the time she turns 24, we'll be done having sex."
