Kate Middleton's life has been the subject of speculation since she went MIA from the public after her planned abdominal surgery in January 2024, and even after she revealed her cancer diagnosis a couple months later, in March.
But the unsolicited theories about her life continue to flood the internet, and the latest was that she's been receiving cancer treatments in Houston, Texas, after reportedly being spotted in the city. TikToker Amanda Matta shared a video to her account, @matta_of_fact, giving her opinion on a Reddit post that claims the Princess of Wales recently stayed at The St. Regis Houston.
"Kate Middleton spotted in Houston TX? ," the caption read, adding that the TikToker was "spilling the tea" on her royal theory about Kate possibly receiving "cancer treatment outside of the UK ☕️ (in the United States, no less)." It was speculated that she was getting care at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
A representative from Kensington Palace has denied the rumors. MD Anderson Cancer Center representatives are unable to comment on whether or not Kate is a patient due to patient privacy laws. The center is known as one of the best in the world due to its groundbreaking cancer treatment and research, and has treated celebrities including Eddie Van Halen and Chris Evert.

Despite the palace's denial of the rumor, many are tending to believe it tracks. "This would explain a lot ~ like why William only visited the hospital once. She wasn’t there anymore," one person commented. "It also makes sense that her parents would travel with her cause William would need more security," another person wrote, while someone else added, "This is by far the most logical situation."
