Given that people can’t stop talking about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s engagement, their actual wedding day will obviously be a huge deal as well. And to make the celebration extra special, Martha Stewart seems to think that the newly engaged couple could use her help. Taylor, 35, and Travis, also 35, officially announced their engagement on Instagram on Tuesday, August 26.
They captioned their engagement photos with, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨” Not long after they shared the exciting news, Martha offered to plan their wedding. Sharing one of Taylor and Travis’ engagement photos along with a video of her sipping wine, Martha captioned her post, “🚨 It’s time to call in the ultimate wedding planner 🚨.”
Though Martha’s involvement has obviously not been confirmed, fans were super excited about the idea and said it would be “iconic.” One fan wrote, “Ummmmm best collab ever! Yes, please.” Another person noticed that Martha must be a Swiftie too. “Martha is a Swiftie 🥹🫶🏼 I would LOVE to see this crossover event 😍” they wrote.
To some fans, no other option even made sense. “Martha you are the ONLY one for this beautiful love story!!!!” someone else commented. Reacting to the potential collab, others said they need to see Taylor and Martha together, even if it’s not for wedding planning purposes. “I need an episode of Martha gossiping in the suite with Taylor at a Chiefs game,” one fan commented. A second fan noted that they “want to watch this reality show.”
It’s not the first time Martha has made it clear that she’s a Swiftie. Previously, Travis’ mom, Donna Kelce, appeared on Martha’s podcast. During the conversation, Martha mentioned Taylor even though she said she “was begged not to mention” her, per the New York Post.
Speaking to Donna, Martha said, “I just want to say you always look so great with (Taylor) in the box when she was at the games with you and she’s lovely. I’ve met her and she’s lovely.”
Martha also called Taylor and Travis “cute” during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. Andy asked Martha and Snoop Dogg if cared about where Taylor and Travis “dine out.” While Snoop Dogg said he didn’t care, Martha assured the host that she did. “I like to go where they go,” she said. “They’re cute!”
