What to Know
An OnlyFans star has sparked backlash over teaming up with his 18-year-old son to create content. In a statement shared via social media, the dad, Dean Byrne, 41, said his son, Bray, expressed interest in joining OnlyFans as a content creator. At first, Dean was a bit skeptical, but because his son was “adamant,” he decided to help him out. That has now evolved into the father and son duo actually collaborating with each other on social media. Obviously, the collab is unconventional, and while it’s garnered a decent amount of attention, lots of people online are pretty weirded out by the whole thing.
The dad defended his decision.
In December 2025, Dean wrote that he’s received “a lot of questions” about whether he’s related to Bray, given that they look alike and have very similar usernames on social media. Dean then told his followers that Bray is actually his son. “Yes he is and he came to me recently saying he wanted to start OF, I tried to put him off at first cause it can be bad, he was adamant so I took him under my wing and said I’d help,” the dad wrote, adding, “Please show your support and please be kind.”
Unsurprisingly, not everyone could accept this explanation. Being a supportive parent is one thing, but some people are arguing that Dean is taking it a bit too far with this one. While some critics can understand parents who are OK with their adult children being on OnlyFans, actually working together to create erotic content feels like a different thing entirely. One person on X wrote, “It’s one thing saying you’re okay with your son doing OF. It’s another when you’re taking a– shots with him.”
Another critic wrote, “Erm this feels… odd, and kinda wrong to be honest.” And a third person chimed in with, “I don’t think it’s the best choice you could have made. I understand it was his request, but as a father, I would have fought to ensure he had a different future.”

Others assumed Dean was lying.
The idea of filming content like this with your son was so unfathomable to some that they concluded Dean must be lying to get more views. Dean addressed the critics who think he’s using a fake son as a marketing strategy in a separate post.
“I’m getting a lot of messages saying that @BcBrne1 isn’t my son and it’s just a marketing technique, well I guess I must have been playing the long game,” he said, sharing some old photos of them together. He then added, “Yes I’m a daddy, and I kept it quiet as i didn’t want him to be part of this life but it’s his decision and I support him 100%.”
The dad and son duo are definitely not quiet about being related now, which is probably part of the reason why some people think they made the story up. At this point, they frequently collaborate on social media, labeling their videos with “dad 41” and “son 18.”
