Oscar Mayer Is Looking For People To Drive Wienermobiles Around The United States For $35K

Calling all hot dog lovers! Calling all hotdog lovers! Here's a public service announcement that might just land you your next gig: Oscar Mayer is calling all hot dog lovers drive its Wienermobiles (on the roads since 1936) around the country as part of its "Hotdogger" class.

Drivers will be paid $35,600 as a base salary. They will also receive a weekly allowance of $150 for meals and personal travel, 18 days of paid time off, complete health benefits, and all of their hotel expenses covered for them.

The members of the cohort will be expected to drive the mobiles, hand out Wiener Whistles to hotdog lovers across the country, and create social media content. “The title of a Hotdogger is a rare and coveted position unique to those seeking adventure and a once-in-a-lifetime experience,” Ed Roland, senior manager of brand communications at Oscar Mayer, said.

“Statistically speaking, more people have visited space than driven the Wienermobile!” he said, adding that it's easier to be accepted into an Ivy League university than it is to become a Hotdogger. “We take pride in welcoming the next class who will continue to uphold the tradition of sparking smiles and bringing buns of fun to fans across the US."
