Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, are expecting baby No. 3! The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and retired pro soccer player announced the big news on social media. And fans couldn't be more excited for the couple.
To recap, Patrick and Brittany were high school sweethearts who married in March 2022. They welcomed their first child, a daughter they named Sterling Skye Mahomes, in February 2021. Then in November 2022, their son, Patrick "Bronze" Lavon Mahomes III, was born.

On July 12, Brittany and Patrick announced the pregnancy with a joint Instagram Reels video. "Round three, here we come ," they captioned the update. The clip featured Bruno Mars' "Count on Me" and footage of the couple with their two kids holding a sonogram.
In the comments, Instagram users expressed shock and joy over the big news. WNBA star Caitlin Clark wrote, "Awhhh congrats !!! "
Patrick's mother, Randi Mahomes, commented, "❤️❤️I love y’all so much!!❤️❤️."
Meanwhile, singer Jessie James Decker declared, " Congrats ❤️❤️❤️❤️."
A quick look at the list of names who liked Brittany and Patrick's Instagram post revealed other big names who celebrated the baby news. Pat's Chiefs teammate, tight end Travis Kelce, gave the update a "like." And so did his pop superstar girlfriend, Taylor Swift!
On July 13, the expecting mom returned to Instagram with another sweet update. "Family of 5 coming soon blessings on blessings ," she wrote in the caption. The post included a stunning photo shoot featuring Brittany, Patrick, Sterling, and Bronze posing together and with the sonogram.
Once again, Instagram users celebrated the baby on the way.
