On March 4, 2023, Pete Davidson and girlfriend Chase Sui Wonders had just returned from their idyllic Hawaiian vacation when life came at them fast. Pete lost control of his car, which was traveling at a high rate of speed, and crashed into a Beverly Hills home. No one was injured, and no arrests were made at the time.
TMZ is reporting that law enforcement sources say the official investigation on the incident just wrapped up. The case has been turned over to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office for review. This means Pete is not quite out of the woods and could still face charges.
Lieutenant Christopher Coulter of the Beverly Hills Police Department spoke to E! News about the incident. "His car collided with a fire hydrant, causing property damage," the lieutenant said. "No one was injured, and no one was arrested."
A 16-year-old girl was home alone at the time of the crash. She thought she was experiencing an earthquake but now has a far better story to tell her friends. It was still a scary thing to go through.
