President Biden has carefully crafted the calm, grandfather-like persona the public sees. Some of his critics even go so far as to call him senile or too old. A new Axios report claims that could not be further from the truth.
Apparently, behind the scenes President Biden is a yeller and loves a hearty debate. His aides consider it a right of passage to be grilled by the commander in chief. He even uses some colorful language from time to time.
The report makes it clear that Biden does not erupt without cause. He grills his top aides when it is apparent they are not as prepared as they could be. Some of his staff call this “stump the chump” or “stump the dummy.” Most of his staff take this in stride, claiming that is how the president shows he respects you.
This does not mean that the aides do not attempt to avoid his rage. Some make sure to bring a colleague with them when meeting with him, hoping the buddy system will deter the president. His outbursts also include curse words with him being known to have said things such as “get the [expletive] out of here!”

Some of his staff wish the president would get angry in public to help out his public image. They believe this shows how intelligent and capable he is. Many of his opponents are quick to point out his age and paint a picture of an out-of-touch old man, which his righteous anger would dispute.
