Mom Leaves Kids At Motel During Shift At Pizza Joint, Cops Show Up To Find The Truth

When you’re the single parent of small children, sometimes things happen in life that can cause turmoil and change things for your family in ways that you weren’t expecting.

Shaina Elizabeth Bell of Liberty Township in Ohio experienced one of the worst days of her life on February 11, 2021. The single mom had been struggling for several years as she tried to raise her kids on her own.

To give a little backstory, Shaina was raised by two caring parents in Dayton, Ohio. In high school, Shaina met who she thought was the love of her life. The couple dated for many years and eventually got married and had three kids together.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the couple separated and Shaina soon found herself looking after her two young daughters all on her own. Shaina had to move out of the family home and found herself unable to even afford an apartment.

According to KIRO 7 News, Shaina moved herself and her girls into a Motel 6 in Youngstown, Ohio. After a tip came through to the police, she was arrested and charged with child endangerment after authorities found her 10-year-old and toddler sister in a motel room on their own while their mom worked hours at a local pizza shop.

Shaina was quickly released from jail and her mother, Danielle Hosey, decided to take things into her own hands and started a GoFundMe page to help her daughter secure safe housing for her and her three grandchildren.
