On December 10, 2023, Allison Holker Boss took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message on her first wedding anniversary since the death of her husband, Stephen “tWitch” Boss. Allison and tWitch, who were both on So You Think You Can Dance, got married in December 2013. tWitch died by suicide on December 13, 2022 at age 40.
"We honor love by finding peace and gratitude in the memories of the ones that have transformed our souls forever," Allison wrote on Instagram, sharing a photo from their wedding day.
"On our anniversary I find myself in a space of tranquility embracing so many beautiful moments felt and experienced. With my whole heart I celebrate our love," she continued in the post.
Allison and tWitch had three children together. Leading up to her wedding anniversary, Allison wrote about grief in another post, explaining that it doesn't go away.
"Grief never ends .. but every season of challenge has an expiration date. Keep believing and keep dancing through," she wrote. Allison and tWitch both loved to dance, and Allison often shared videos of them dancing together. She captioned one of the dance videos with, "our love language."
On December 5, Fox shared that Allison will be a judge for Season 18 of So You Think You Can Dance.

Allison shared the news on Instagram. "So honored and grateful to announce I’ll be judging for SYTYCD @danceonfox !! What an absolute dream come true!!!" she wrote. "A full circle moment that has changed my life in quite literally every way. IM HOME!! And sitting next to people I admire and love is just perfection!!"
