In a sneak peak for Tuesday night's America's Got Talent, a group of young equestrian gymnasts pulled off a wild audition, when they performed jaw-dropping acrobatic moves all while riding horses.
A Tad West Trick Riders, a team of four boys and one girl, all between the ages of 6 and 17, showcase their trick riding, which refers to the act of performing stunts while riding a horse. During their audition, the team is seen hanging upside down off of the side of the galloping horse. At another point, the kids are seen doing flips, tricks and riding backwards.
When the youngest member rides out to the arena, all of the AGT judges are shocked by his insane moves. But it's the older brother that completely steals the show, starting with a handstand while riding his horse.
"It would be dangerous for anybody," says judge Howie Mandel, "but children doing things — amazing stunts — on the back of a horse is something that certainly falls under the category of extreme."
According to the family's website, "The Griffith family has been trick riding since the early 1900s, and the tradition has been passed down through generations. Tad Griffith is a stunt man and third generation trick rider that is now teaching his children, who all happen to be under the age of 18, the tricks that his mother and father taught him."
