It is an exciting decision to start your own family. It is a joyous occasion to be able to share that news with others.
The Baldwin family finds themselves in this very situation. On New Year’s Eve 2022, Ireland Baldwin posted a photo of a sonogram, captioning it simply "happy New Year ❤️." Her father and stepmother, Alec and Hilaria Baldwin, responded with an adorable video of their own featuring Ireland's half-siblings.
In this video, Ireland’s oldest half-sibling — Carmen, age 9 — breaks everything down for her seven siblings. She says, “So you guys know what uncle means. It means that your sister or brother is pregnant, or they have a kid,” she explains. Alec interrupts and asks, "What am I?" Carmen even has this covered. "You're going to be a grandpa. Ireland's pregnant," she says.
Ireland is the daughter of Alec and his ex-wife, Kim Basinger, making her Alec’s oldest child. Her half-siblings are Carmen, age 9; Rafael Thomas, age 7; Leonardo Ángel Charles, age 6; Romeo Alejandro David, age 4; Eduardo "Edu" Pao Lucas, age 2; María Lucía Victoria, 23 months; and Ilaria Catalina Irena, 3 months. They are so excited to be aunts and uncles.
The whole family sends their well-wishes to Ireland and her boyfriend, RAC. “From all these excited tiny uncles and aunties and grandpa Alec and grandma me… We are so happy for you, Ireland and Andre…can't wait to meet the little babe ❤,” Hilaria wrote.
