A shocking little-known fact is that even moms make mistakes. (But let’s not spread that around.) Jenna Bush Hager is owning up to one of hers on the Today show. Apparently, her 10-year-old daughter Mila was all too happy to point it out.
Jenna confessed that Mila confronted her about throwing away her and her sister's artwork. She was not happy about it. Most moms can relate to wanting to cut back on all the clutter in a busy household.
“I learned something last night. I was putting Mila to bed and she said, 'I have to talk to you about something,'" Jenna began on Wednesday’s show. No one ever wants to hear the words “we need to talk.”
Jenna braced herself for what was to follow. "I said, ‘Yes?’ ‘I know that you threw out my mirror that I made at camp. And I saw it in the trash can,’” Jenna continued. “I don’t appreciate it and I talked to Poppy the other day at breakfast, and she doesn’t appreciate that you throw out our art, so stop. Now if you see a piece of paper and it has scribble on it, you can throw it out, but the things that are precious to Poppy and me, you’re hurting our feelings.'"

This caused Jenna to have so many emotions as a mom. “I felt shamed," Jenna confessed. “My own child shamed me, and I feel guilty about it.” She admits she probably threw out the mirror but does not remember doing it. Cleaning the house is therapeutic for her.
