Nick Cannon and Alyssa Scott have a lot to celebrate! They just welcomed another baby to their family.
Alyssa gave birth to a daughter, Halo Marie Cannon, on December 14, 2022. While Nick is a dad to many, little Halo is only their second baby together.
The new baby is Nick's 12th child and the third for the model.
Alyssa shared the happy news on Instagram on Thursday with a sweet video announcement. In it, the couple acknowledged their son, Zen, who died a year ago.
Zen died at 5 months old from brain cancer. Having another baby arrive just a year later was an emotional experience for the two.
"December 14, 2022. Our lives are forever changed ❤️," Alyssa wrote.
She continued, "Zen is in every breath I take. I know his spirit was with us in the room that morning. I know he is watching down on us. He shows me signs every day. I will hold onto this memory forever."
Alyssa added, "I will remember the sound of Nick's voice saying 'it's a girl' and the look of everything we've been through flash across his face. I will remember the sound of her crying out with her first breath and feeling her heartbeat against mine.
"My sweet girl, I got my surprise!! We love you Halo Marie Cannon! ."
The new parents are clearly over the moon. Alyssa also shared a follow-up post to the video, showing off some pictures of their new bundle of joy. "HI BABY !! 12/14/22 ," she wrote.
