Although most towns are in full swing for prom season by now, it's not just the young residents who would like the chance to cut loose and bust a move.
As you can see in the charming twist on a "senior prom" video below, taking a twirl around the dance floor is just as much fun for everyone regardless of their age!
The retirement home residents all take turns explaining why they chose their fancy duds for the evening, some reaching back into their closet for things that they might have worn back in the 1940s. Others just took the opportunity to show off their still-impressive physical aspects.
One particularly frisky woman admits, "I chose to show a little bit of my legs — I think they look pretty good!" To be honest, I hope my legs look that good when I reach her age, too.
They also show off some photos from the World War II era, including a Navy veteran smiling in a black-and-white photo of his old "monkey suit" to show how far he climbed ranks for the honor of wearing his CPO uniform to the dance.
He also reveals that he had never danced before in his life! But that changes when the lighthearted festivities put a new spring in his step.
