Are we witnessing the final years of King Charles III?
His health has become the focus of intense speculation once again due to his ongoing battle with cancer.
A new report is suggesting the monarch might not be winning his bout against cancer, contrary to what’s being portrayed, and that is sparking alarm.
In an update that comes via royal expert and commentator Camilla Tominey — who broke the story that Prince Harry was dating Meghan Markle, as well as the story about the couple’s feud with Kate Middleton — the talk now is the king “may die ‘with’ cancer, but not ‘of’ cancer following a rigorous treatment programme.”
Tominey noted the king had confided to someone that he is “on the other side” of his illness. While some might interpret this as being optimistic, to Tominey, it might actually mean acceptance rather than a recovery.
Even though Tominey’s terminology suggests that the king’s illness is ultimately incurable, it also suggests that the royals in the know seem to believe the disease won’t overtake the 76-year-old monarch anytime soon.
Despite the bleak speculation, King Charles has been maintaining a full schedule, appearing at multiple events and engaging actively with the public. He’s also finding other ways to keep busy as the king is an avid watercolor painter and sells his creations on his foundation’s official online store.
“He knows he is in the twilight of his life,” a source told RadarOnline, “and some of the compositions are pretty melancholy given the serious position he is in with this cancer diagnosis.” They added, “He is channeling the grief and pain he is feeling into his art.”
So far, there’s been no official confirmation from Buckingham Palace regarding the specifics of the king’s condition.
