Woman Gets Her Very First Haircut On The ‘Rachael Ray’ Show At Age 29

We've all been there at one point or another: on the cusp of change. Big or small, change can be a scary thing!

Helene was the only girl in her family. After two boys, her mother loved to doll her up and put pretty bows in her long hair. Helene grew to love her long hair, too.

Years went by and she never felt the need to cut it. All her life, she was known as the girl with the long hair. As she grew taller, her hair kept growing longer, as well.

Soon, though, Helene stopped growing taller; her hair, on the other hand, didn't.

At 29 years old, Helene's hair had become longer than six feet. It was so, so long that it trailed on the ground behind her when she walked. She was the real-life Rapunzel!

She always knew that she was going to donate her hair when she finally did get it chopped off. She knew that her hair would help someone, or, more likely, a good handful of people.

When she finished grad school, she was entering a new phase of her life, and her best friend convinced her that it was finally time.

Celebrity chef Rachael Ray and the stylist for the Rachael Ray show, Kyan Douglas, took Helene under their capable wings and gave her a makeover, just in time for the new phase of her life.

She looks amazing, don't you think so?
