Peggy Sue needed to be re-homed because of her size, so her family contacted an organization that works to re-home animals. Animals that are not your typical pets, like pigs, are often hard to find one home for, let alone two. But this a happy story, and Peggy Sue found the perfect new match! Her new mom, Emma, had always wanted a pig because of pigs' intelligence, affection and energy. Emma says she's waited for this moment all her life, and being able to witness the moment Peggy Sue and Emma meet made my heart absolutely melt.
It's so wonderful to know there are people out there who give animals with a generally tougher time at finding families a forever home in which they can flourish.
