For the countless soldiers who bravely serve their country thousands and thousands of miles away from home, there's often one thing that helps them get through the loneliness and homesickness: the people they've left behind.
While everyone appreciates, respects, honors, and loves the sacrifice the brave men and women of our military give every single day, oftentimes it's the people who stay at home who have just as tough a job as those superhero men and women on the front lines.
The wives, husbands, mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, brothers, and sisters of the soldiers who have taken up their country's call. These Americans sacrifice a lot, too, so when they finally get to say "Welcome home!" to their loved ones, it's often just as sweet of an experience for them as it is for the soldier who has been away from it all for so very long.
So when this big brother got the chance to surprise his "little buddy" while he was at school, he was surprised to find himself tearing up just as much as everyone else around him.
Normally a big and tough guy, this brave soldier's heart absolutely melted when his little brother jumped into his arms just to show him how much he loved and missed him. When the darling little boy tells his big brother, "I missed you, buddy!" you better believe there wasn't a dry eye in the whole classroom!
