In 10 Seconds, These Baby Raccoons Will Have You Laughing Out Loud!

When a predator attacked a raccoon's den, killing the mother, three babies were left abandoned. Only a few hours old, the babies were brought to Wildlife Rehabber by a caring individual. Cindy Dawson, a volunteer at the center in Mississippi, immediately stepped up to care for the three raccoons.

Under her care, the fragile babies were able to grow into healthy young raccoons. Today, as you can see in the video below, these raccoons are now just rambunctious, funny, little toddlers getting into mischief.

She raised the trio – Susie, Sadie, and Pooper – from tiny, 3-oz. newborns, and the bond she shares with them is unlike anything I've seen before.

"I love what I do. Like many of us, they just need a little help to get back on their feet and be what God intended them to be," Dawson told LittleThings.

As she prepped the raccoons to return to the wild, she would take the little raccoons for a walk in the backyard.

"Once we start walking, they learn my calls and other skills they will need in the wild," she added.

In the video below, she takes the three baby raccoons outside. Before long, they end up knocking over potter plants, and their general clumsiness is just too adorable for words! But you can tell these little ones really love their human caretaker.

"When I started rehabbing, I quickly realized it was my calling and filled a void in my life like nothing ever has. The amazing people at our center share this same passion. I have always loved animals. It is my way to give back to this world and the beautiful, amazing animals God created," Dawson said.

All of these raccoons were successfully released back into the wild last year.
