For those who may not know, The Puppy Bowl is an annual television program on Animal Planet that mimics an American football bowl game similar to the Super Bowl — using puppies.
During the show, a bunch of adorable puppies at play inside a model stadium, with real commentary on their actions. What makes this show so amazing is that all the puppies featured in the Puppy Bowl are from shelters, and at the end of each game, they all get adopted. How sweet is that?!
The first Puppy Bowl was shown on February 6, 2005, opposite Super Bowl XXXIX.
