The Celtic Women have truly taken the world by storm since their founding in 2004. But when you listen to their angelic voices, you'll easily understand why they've managed to sell over 8 million of their albums and DVDs of their performances over the years.
With the simple mission to sing beautiful, inspiring, and uplifting music, these women have only increased in their fan base. The lineup of young Irish women has changed over the years since the group began, but their beautiful singing has always remained the same.
The song "You Raise Me Up," may sound like an older hymn, but it was actually written in the early 2000s by the musical duo Secret Garden. The song was popular, but it didn't become the huge hit it is today until singer Josh Groban performed a cover that quickly climbed the charts. The women in the video make this a true experience to watch; when the backup singers join in at 3:33, we honestly all got chills.
With booming fireworks, soaring vocals, and the beautiful backdrop provided by the purple-lit castle, this video is really worth watching more than once!
These women all remain so humble in spite of the millions of fans and followers they have worldwide. With their raw talent and their passion for spreading good throughout the world, all we can say is that we can't wait until they have more live performances in the United States for us to watch!
Please SHARE this beautiful song if you love the Celtic Women, too!
