A Mississippi Choir Surprises IHOP Customers With A Performance Of “God’s On Your Side”

One IHOP was transformed into a Sunday sermon when the Mississippi Mass Choir decided to serenade the whole restaurant.

Customers at the location near Detroit, MI were treated to the impromptu performance one summer day as the choir performed "God's On Your Side" from their 2014 album Declaration of Dependence.

I've seen several other performances of this nature before, including the Britain's Got Talent choir who made even Simon Cowell's jaw drop. But nothing can compare to something so unscripted.

The choir, whose Twitter page says it's "serving God through song," had the whole room paying attention. Some people even stood there recording.

Whether or not the patrons were religious, I'm sure many of them could still feel uplifted while listening to the motivational lyrics.

"Some days you're weary and you can't see your way/Some nights are lonely with no one to say you can make it/This is only a test/You can take it and don't you think nothing less," were some of the lyrics performed by the choir members, who all wore blue T-shirts.

And just wait till you see one member's passion at the 3:35 mark — it might make you want to get up from you chair, too.

Please SHARE if you loved their performance!
