According to the (messily written, and not always correctly spelled) captions on this video, teachers from a Queensland, Australia high school were at the end of their rope regarding "concerned parents." The parents were calling in, demanding to know why their children weren't getting good grades, and even asking to get those grades changed. What the parents weren't acknowledging every time they called was that a lot of their children had missed a bunch of school, or just weren't turning in their homework. Teachers had had enough.
What you hear in this video is the supposed voice mail that parents would get every time they called the school. As it goes on, you can't help but laugh, and it also helps you realize the kind of annoyances good teachers have to deal with every day.
Sure, we all want our kids to succeed, but when do we draw the line and let them steer their own lives, and deal with the consequences of their choices?
