I am the first to admit that when it comes to dancing, I was born with two left feet. I tried my best in elementary school tap and jazz classes, but I really never got the hang of it. It's like I'm missing the gene that lets your body translate a song's rhythm into movement. That's why I'm endlessly impressed by anyone with even a small amount of talent. Even more so when it comes to those individuals who are so dedicated to the art of dance and don't let anything hold them back. Not even, say, their little bundles of joy waiting to be born!
But what really floors me is when someone as ordinary as I am, without any training whatsoever, can jump in with their own set of sweet moves. For instance, if you met this boss from the California Conservation Corps, you probably wouldn't assume he was hiding a pair fancy feet in those work boots. However, you would be so wrong! While hanging out in the break room, John Griffith watches as his employees Antwon McCoy and Leonard Patton show him a few of their favorite steps. After a few moments, Griffith jumps in with more than a few of his own.
The men are absolutely stunned by how quickly the man they describe as a "big nature nerd" and "mountain man" picked up where they left off while a hip-hop song plays in the background. Clearly, you really can't judge a book by its cover.
