Entire Football Team Goes Bald When A Young Fan Reveals His Cancer Diagnosis

If you're a sports fan of any kind — whether it be at the middle school, high school, college, or even professional level — one of your biggest hopes is to be noticed by the players you admire. With hundreds, even thousands of fans, the chances of meeting these tough men and women are slim to none.

But one lucky fan got a special and meaningful gift from a high school football team. The gesture came in a trying time for the 10-year-old.

Braedyn Wasko was diagnosed with bone cancer, and chemotherapy made him lose all of his hair.

The football team of Carmichaels Area Junior/Senior High School took notice of the young fan and, at a pep rally, decided to show their support and solidarity with the fourth grader.

Each player had his head completely shaved!

Many people were shocked by the event in the best of ways. Convinced that hair is a major part of a young man's identity, this was the last thing they expected the boys to do.

But the football players showed their good faith and reasoning: It's hair, and it can grow back.

Braedyn and his mother were touched by the gesture. Now the boy has fans of his own.

Please SHARE if you think these young men deserve praise for their goodwill, and if you think they're starting the school year on the right foot!
