I have noticed a trend in fashion lately, and I have to say, it's incredibly refreshing. From Target to J.C. Penney, clothing lines are doing their best to offer wider ranges in sizes.
Women come in all shapes, and it's important that each and every one of us gets the chance to show off our personal styles. Finding size options is still quite a challenge for many women, but there are talented designers out there trying to make everyone's shopping experience a fun one.
Although clothing lines appear to be adapting in terms of the actual product they offer, the way they offer it doesn't seem to be changing as quickly. The average American gal wears a size between 12 and 14, but you don't often see ladies with bigger busts or thicker thighs represented in the modeling community.
Curvy Kate, a lingerie brand that offers D to K cup lingerie and swimwear, decided to create a campaign called "The New Sexy" to show the world women of all shapes and sizes can look sexy, too! The New Sexy campaign may be one of the most inclusive we've ever seen, and the models are rocking it!

One problem that many women have when they shop for clothes or lingerie is the way the items are sold.
Models are paid to be beautiful and look great in the clothes they're showing off, but it's hard to picture yourself in certain outfits when the girls look nothing like you.
Curvy Kate, a lingerie retailer, decided to switch things up a little bit and create "The New Sexy" campaign.
The incredible models chosen to show off the new line are each sexy in their own way.
Megan Jayne Crabbe, the model pictured above, overcame her struggles with anorexia.
Now, she is healthy and happy in her own skin.
This gorgeous gal is Therese Hansson. She suffers from a condition called alopecia, which causes her hair to fall out.
Hansson is proof that you don't need long hair to make an outfit look amazing.
Taylor Crisp had her leg amputated when she was just 11 years old.
Today, she's thrilled with her body, but she'd like to see more women just like her in ad campaigns.
The ad even features some well-known faces, like online fashion blogger Georgina Horne.
"We know our customers don't all look the same, so why should our models?" asked Hannah Isichei the brand's head of PR and marketing.
"Why should boudoir lingerie just be reserved for a handful of society?"
The answer is simple. It shouldn't!
The New Sexy campaign is proof of that.
Do you think more companies should be making an effort to appeal to the average-size American woman in their ad campaigns?
