When Kayleigh Ann Freeman was born, she only weighed one pound. Doctors warned her mom and dad that she would not survive long, but they clung to faith, each other, and the hope that their precious little girl would fight to stay alive. Things did not seem to be getting better.
Her weight soon dropped to just 13 ounces, and then the worst news of all came: Kayleigh would need open heart surgery. She was the smallest person on record to ever have the procedure, but that doesn't mean she didn't have a lot of spunk! This miracle baby fought against seemingly hopeless odds and survived! I was so moved and so inspired watching Kayleigh Ann's story I just had to share!
