Fashion Influencer Horrifies Fans When She Covers Up Exit Signs At Her Wedding: ‘Selfish’

In a now-deleted video, an influencer shared that she covered the exit signs at her wedding reception to "save the wedding photos." Calling the exit signs "ugly," the woman, Bridget Bahl, appeared to brag about her eye for detail, saying, "I pay attention to things most people ignore (covered all the ugly red exit signs to save the wedding photos)."

The video has been deleted, but has still sparked controversy and conversation, with some social media users saying that covering the signs is not a big deal and others pointing out that it's a major safety risk.

The video also continues to live on (at least in part) via another TikTok user. Clips from Bridget's original video can be seen in a different video put together by @madisonannestudio, a photographer who pointed out that good photographers could "save" wedding photos without creating safety hazards.

She wrote "imagine investing in a good photographer instead of breaking safety codes." Her video also shows how an exit sign can be edited out of a photo flawlessly, to the point that no one would even know that the sign was there. "Maybe I'm overconfident in my PS skills but that's not even something's that's super hard to fix?? hazard for nothing," one person wrote in response to Madison's video. Madison responded with, "Literally two clicks!!!"

Some TikTok users appeared to defend Bridget.

"It still said exit, just in gold," one follower commented.

Others were quick to point out flaws in this argument.

"Is this a joke?" one person responded. "Why do you think you don't see aesthetic exit signs? They're made the way they are for a reason."

Others noted that visually unappealing objects, such as exit signs, were not edited out of some wedding photos, even when a lot of money was spent on a photographer.
