Police Officer Is Brought To Tears During Routine Traffic Stop

If you've watched the news or read a paper lately, you know that there is a lot of tension between police officers and civilians.

Many officers fear for their lives when they step outside their doors each morning and onto the streets of the cities that they patrol.

It takes true bravery to do a job like this, and it's people who step in to speak up for officers that make the job bearable during times when it seems a bit on the hopeless side.

It all comes down to small gestures, like these kids who dropped off survival kits filled with candy at their local police station. A cute poem accompanied the kit and explained the reason for each item inside. It's a sweet little gift with an extremely powerful message.

And it doesn't even have to be material items that brightens an officer's day. This grandma in Colorado was upset about the recent loss of so many officers across the country, so she decided to give an officer a hug. Even something so simple can make a huge impact in a police officer's day.

So when Sheriff Deputy Brandon Wiggins pulled over a man driving a pickup truck and two other cars pulled over as well, the officer was extremely on edge.

When a man approaches the scene and explains himself, it's tough not to cry right along with Deputy Wiggins.
