When they're first born, animals don't have the instincts they have when they're older. Or perhaps they simply haven't learned to trust their instincts — but once in a while, that's a good thing! If this weren't so, we wouldn't be able to share some priceless moments with these tiny babies, like the way a little girl became friends with a fawn.
While we would never encourage intentionally approaching a wild animal, even in a friendly manner, it's quite amazing when these animals positively respond to people who do. Although, there are special circumstances surrounding these friendships: this massive moose isn't just being friendly for the sake of being friendly — he's this woman's best friend!
Watch the pair stroll through the plains of Alaska, as if in a dream! This woman raised this moose since he was a calf, so they share a very special bond— he even eats bananas out of her hand. Who knew that moose even ate bananas?
How we would love to walk in this woman's shoes. She hugs the massive moose the same way we lovingly hug our pets at home!
