Meet 96- year-old Tao Porchon Lynch. She's the world's oldest yoga teacher, proving that age truly is just a number. Lynch has been practicing yoga for more than 70 years and shows no signs of slowing down, despite having undergone a full hip replacement! In fact, one month after her surgery, was teaching yoga again.
This agile grandma is still inspiring students in New York who are a quarter of her age. In fact, she continues to hold the Guinness World Record title of "The World's Oldest Yoga Teacher." She believes that staying active is the secret to her longevity and youthfulness. In the video, she demonstrates extreme flexibility, endurance and energy. "I don't believe in letting age and broken bones get the better of my life. I believe nothing is impossible," she says.
She has no plans of stopping yoga anytime soon. She loves doing it, saying, "I am going to teach yoga until I can't breathe anymore. Then it's going to carry me to the next planet. I love yoga. It brightens my day, and it makes everybody smile."
