Anderson Cooper Admits Co-Parenting In The Same Home With His Ex Is ‘Weird’ But ‘Sweet’

Anderson Cooper celebrated the arrival of his first son, Wyatt, in April 2020. Then he welcomed son Sebastian.

Anderson has shared tons of adorable updates. But after first becoming a dad to Wyatt, he told Ellen DeGeneres about how co-parenting with his ex Benjamin Masani was going.

The family of three were together in Anderson's home at the time. "We actually still live in the same house because we get along really well and, yeah, it's weird but it works out," Anderson said. "It's interesting, because he wasn't really sure he wanted to have a kid — which is one of the reasons we probably broke up — but then, he came around to the idea. Now he is such a great parent."

Anderson also said that Benjamin is a goner for Wyatt. The pair took their son to get his vaccinations, and while Wyatt was OK, Benjamin very much was not. "But I turned around when Wyatt got his first shot, and Benjamin is weeping! He's become this, like, big softie. It's really sweet to see."

Of course, Anderson had to address the elephant in the room: With all this parental bonding, is there a chance he and Benjamin could get back together? He answers that question in the video below!
