While we all love the adorably sweet faces of little puppies and the sweet little meows of kittens, when it comes to adorable animals from Australia? The kangaroo is one of the cutest out there from down under!
The Kangaroo Sanctuary of Alice Springs, Australia, aims to rescue and raise injured wildlife, especially kangaroos. Being the first wildlife hospital in this area of Australia, the sanctuary has received tons of media exposure, including documentaries on National Geographic and BBC.
However, we don't need a long movie to see how special and adorable their baby kangaroos (or joeys) are. All we need is a five-second video like this one!
The star kangaroo below is named Patrick, and, unfortunately, he lost his parents to the harsh Australian outback. But babies like Patrick are what The Kangaroo Sanctuary is here for. Without a mother's pouch to crawl into, Patrick needs somewhere, something, or someone to cuddle up next to to feel safe.
Well, the helpers at the sanctuary have found the best and most unexpected pouch replacement: A pillowcase. It's a short and sweet moment that'll leave you saying "This is so cute!" Thank goodness for the amazing people who make sure that these orphaned animals are given the chance to live a long and happy life.
