Father Of Cancer Patient Repays Act Of Kindness In Beautiful Way.

In 2011, Darren Greenwood's son, Joe, was diagnosed with leukemia. On one night during his son's cancer treatment at the Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara Medical Center, he was given a care package from an anonymous family. Darren and his son were so happy, knowing that someone out there was thinking of them. That small random act of kindness got Darren thinking about what he could do to pay it forward.

Darren is not a professional painter, but he wanted to paint the 20-foot mural, covering one wall of the family waiting area in the hospital's pediatric wing. The dad had spent a lot of time there and believed the painting would provide a pleasant distraction for families. He spent 18 hours a day over three weeks to create the calming underwater scene full of fish and coral. Once the painting was finished, he added that it was a gesture of gratitude to the doctors and nurses who successfully treated his son's cancer.

What an beautiful way to repay a random act of kindness. Please SHARE this story with everyone you know.
