Let Your Hair Down With This Easy Breezy Faux Waterfall Headband!

For those of us with short hair, sometimes it's hard to find a nice and quick hairstyle in the morning. I loved this "sliding braid," but now I want to switch it up! With my short hair, I can't pull off an updo, but I can definitely style my hair with this awesome new hairstyle.

Very similar to the sliding braid, this faux waterfall headband uses a braid to hold the hairstyle together. But this look gets all the hair out of my face and keeps all the strands in place! And best of all? All you need is a small hair elastic and a bobby pin!

First, divide your hair into two sections. The part should be in line with the end of your eyebrow, creating one large section and one smaller one. At the crown of your head, take a small section of hair from the larger one, with the base of this small section at the part.

Braid the strands as you normally would. Next, stick two fingers through an outer loop of the braid, away from the forehead. Take some loose strands from the crown of your head and loop them through the outer part of the braid. Repeat the process four or five times to create a faux headband look!

To top off the look, pin the end of the braid under your hair, and tease the hair on the top of your head.

This is such an easy breezy cool look that I can definitely do this every morning!
