Just when you thought that Jonathan and Drew Scott of HGTV’s Property Brothers couldn’t get any busier, the twin brothers decided to launch a lifestyle magazine during the height of the global health crisis, in order to bring something a little different to their loyal followers.
Entertainment Tonight caught up with Jonathan and Drew to talk about all things related to their magazine, Reveal, which debuted in January 2020, as well as to prompt Jonathan on some deets about his longtime love, Zooey Deschanel.
Jonathan and Drew’s big hope for individuals who pick up their magazine is that they want to give them a new way to bring some of those “aspirational images” into their homes as well as showcase talented designers, travel experts, and chefs they know and love.
Not only is the quarterly magazine chock full of helpful guides and advice of all kinds for everyday people, but it also has very relatable and funny "fail" stories from some of your favorite celebrities. In fact, Reveal’s very first issue shared a tale from none other than Zooey Deschanel.
Speaking of Jonathan’s romantic life, it turns out that the couple met for the first time on Carpool Karaoke and almost immediately felt the sparks with some major flirting.
“The producers came back and said that I was flirting so bad that they had to edit down the cut,” Jonathan reveals to ET.
Jonathan also told the entertainment outlet that he is a romantic at heart, and not only do the couple spend their days laughing nonstop, but he’s also lucky enough to get those romantic surprises and gestures reciprocated by Zooey.
