Nowadays, we've become so entrenched in our own lives and responsibilities that we sometimes forget that it's important to help others. No action is too small: it can be as simple as helping an elderly man or woman load their groceries into their car, or carrying a mom's stroller up or down the stairs while she holds her baby. These actions don't take up a lot of time, and can really make a positive change in someone's day.
The elderly may find it harder and harder to keep up with the hustle and bustle of the modern world, especially when there's no one around to help them. Simple tasks become more difficult, and the risk of getting in an accident can increase. Many take the time to help these individuals cross the street. Drivers may not see them, or may not be willing to stop to let them cross.
But one driver was kind enough not just to stop to let a grandma cross, but to get out of his car and stop others.
The elderly woman patiently waits to cross the street, but the cars zoom past her. When she steps foot onto the road, she runs the risk of getting into a terrible accident, but a white car stops just in time. Then the driver gets out, and walks out onto the road, too…
