When I was seven years old, my proudest achievement was being able to successfully complete a cartwheel.
It’s probably a good thing I didn’t know about Darby Leetch at that age, or my cartwheel would have been looking pretty sad in comparison. Little Darby may be just a child, but she’s already an accomplished stunt cheerleader.
Like the incredible young acrobat who stunned judges at a Ukrainian talent competition, Darby is just seven years old! She first got attention as a five-year-old, when she appeared on America’s Got Talent back in 2012.
She never made it to the competition, but, like this teenage contortionist, she did get plenty of attention for her unusual abilities! Darby is now well-known for being one of the youngest cheerleaders at her skill level, performing impressive aerial stunts with the support of her coach Kyle Marnell.
Using Kyle as a base, Darby is able to do leaps, flips, and impressive balancing stands. While she originally started practicing along with other kids in her age group, Darby quickly became talented at all sorts of challenging stunts that are difficult for cheerleaders twice her age.
In fact, little Darby was even invited to perform a showcase of her talents at Cheer Extreme, one of the most famous training centers for cheerleaders. Check out Darby and Kyle’s impressive performance below!
