When Dan's son wanted to see what the insides of sports balls — like soccer and football — look like for a school project, he knew there was only one way to find out. Okay, maybe he could have Googled it, but where's the fun in that? Instead, they took a more hands-on approach to answer the question themselves by slicing right into the balls and investigating the results.
After all that excitement, Dan and Lincoln just couldn't stop there! They've continued to experiment with all sorts of different objects, many requested by their viewers. They've cracked open a scary wasp's nest and were mesmerized by rubber band balls, but the item in the video below is a bit more of an undertaking for the father and son team.
Heading into Dan's bedroom, they start slicing up the mattress! Don't worry, Dan already purchased a new bed since he and his wife weren't too fond of the memory foam on their old one. And since they wouldn't need this one anymore, what better opportunity to take a look inside? Thanks to years of their kids jumping on it, spilling juice and food, and all the other joys of having little ones running around the house, they weren't too sad to see it go, either.
Lincoln stands back while Dan uses his sawzall to tear into the layers. The lining causes a small hiccup at first, but he rips through it with a razor and eventually makes it through all the foam and fabric. When Lincoln gets a chance to take a look, he's totally amazed!
