Sometimes, wild animals will reject or abandon their babies. That was the case with Fila; a precious little elephant calf born in South Africa. Usually, this would be a death sentence for the calf. But for Fila, she found a new family, and it's one that's VERY excited to have her with them!
Three British girls are volunteering their time around the clock to be with Fila. Since young elephants panic any time their mother is not in sight, they even have to sleep with her. But I don't think they're complaining… I'd LOVE to snuggle with a baby elephant! If you think this is the cutest calf ever, please SHARE!
