Tons of people have stuffed animals they're attached to as kids. They call them "lovies" or "stuffies," or any other term of endearment. When we grow up, they often end up in boxes or drawers at our parents' houses. That was the case for Nick Hollinger, who had a toy giraffe as a child. Once Nick got older, he left his beloved "Fraffy" at his mom's house. When Nick and his wife found out they were expecting a baby, Nick's mom knew she needed to track down the same toy giraffe for her new grandchild. [H/T: PopSugar] For Nick's very first Christmas, his mom gave him a stuffed toy giraffe. The animal was made out of lovely pastel-colored fabric, and was perfect for a baby. Nick became immediately attached to the giraffe, which he called "Fraffy." He took it everywhere with him, and in just a few years the giraffe looked very different. Recently, Nick shared a touching story on Reddit about Fraffy. Nick and his wife found out they were expecting a baby, and they were so excited to tell their parents. Nick wrote: Heard you guys like old stuffed animal stories. On the left is my (now un)stuffed animal I received for Christmas 29 years ago. On the right, the new Fraffy my mom tracked down to give to my 8 month old son for his first Christmas. I can't believe he used to have horns! Everyone who saw Nick's post thought it was adorable, and they commented with their opinions. "Loved to death," wrote one woman.
